Silly Mishaps Continue to Plague Forward Momentum

Yes when paired with already weak offensive creativity, low energy & silly mistakes can be maginified tenfold. After heading to the comment sections on Instagram & X (will never get used to typing that) to read fans' initial reactions, those mistakes were under a microscope to say the least.

The Timbers offensive woes are deep at the moment. Offensive spacing, shot creation, taking advantage of crossing opportunities, you name it really. At this point it's unclear if the problem is the squad or who leads them. As tactics appear to be out of the window & public critique in press conferences seems aplenty.

There's plenty to point out. But maybe the worst was the lack of energy on the field that led to interceptions, halted offensive progression & more. It seemed as though most of the players on the field weren't playing in one of the biggest rivalry games in North America.
