MLS Announce 2023 Regular Season Schedule

Much to the delight of Major League Soccer fans around the globe, the 2023 regular season schedule was released on Tuesday. The 29 clubs are now privy to their route towards MLS Cup in the late fall of 2023.
For the Timbers, they will be looking to bounce back after a disappointing 2022 campaign in which they finished one point outside of the MLS Cup Playoffs. With new club record signing, Evander, poised to make his mark on one of the Western Conference's most prestigious teams, head coach Gio Savarese and his players will be raring to get going.

Saturday, Feb. 25 vs Sporting Kansas City - 7:30 p.m. (Home opener)
Saturday, April 15 vs Seattle Sounders FC - 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, June 3 vs @ Seattle Sounders FC - 1:30 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 21 vs Houston Dynamo FC - TBD (Final regular season game)
Before those games kick-off, the Timbers will take the pitch for their first cycle of pre-season friendlies in California for the 2023 Coachella Valley Invitational preseason tournament, which is set to take place in February. The event will feature 12 MLS clubs including the Timbers, D.C. United, LA Galaxy, LAFC, New York City FC, New York Red Bulls Charlotte FC, San Jose Earthquakes, St. Louis City SC, Toronto FC, Minnesota United FC and Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
Their winter-time preparations will begin with the following games. Portland Timbers vs LA Galaxy - Sunday, February 12 (Kickoff 10:30 am PT), Portland Timbers vs Toronto FC - Wednesday, February 15 (Kickoff 2 pm PT), Portland Timbers vs New York City FC - Saturday, February 18 (Kickoff 12 pm PT).
